2010 - Where this journey started.

THANK YOU
FOR YOUR SUPPORT

Mike Romano understands a public servant must possess strong family values, experience, and commitment to the community.

For me, public office is not a career.  I am here to serve my community and to protect your tax dollars from unnecessary spending and corruption.  As a previous Harrison County Commissioner, along with my two fellow Commissioners, we put Harrison County on a track of fiscal responsibility by guarding taxpayer dollars as if they were my own.  We also worked hard to insure that all county employees received fair wages for a full days work and made our county law enforcement officers among the highest paid in the State.  We oversaw the implementation of policies and procedures to help protect taxpayer funds and be sure they are spent wisely.  Unfortunately, after I left County Commission those policies were abandoned.

My experience as an attorney, CPA and business owner can be put to the test in helping guide our County through the difficult times that are certainly ahead.  That's why I need your support for the Harrison County Commission, so that together we can lead West Virginia into a better future.

HARRISON COUNTY IS A GREAT PLACE TO CALL HOME
-------------------------
WORKING TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE IT EVEN BETTER

Mike Romano wants to promote efficiencies in government to help reduce the tax burden on seniors, working people, and businesses. Mike will continue his strong support for law enforcement, fire departments, and first responders as he has done in both the Senate and as a former Commissioner. He believes that by promoting the good things about Harrison County and helping our existing businesses will bring good jobs & economic development. Supporters agree that his experience as a certified public accountant, attorney, and business owner will serve all of the citizens of Harrison County well when elected.
